R ADIO STATION SET Remco mid '50s Elaborate, 12" tall, handsomely designed hard plastic working radio station features telegraph click, two way speaking phones, revolving searchlight, and automatic decoder (up to 1/2 mile! - it claims- comes with extra length of wire). This set features the more uncommon "black" station with gold mylar dial trim and comes complete with instruction and decoding booklet. Set comes presented in an appealing very '50s box design - which can be set up as a display box. A fun, educational, and very displayable toy. Condition of Radio Station, phones, etc. is excellent - all in working order. The long extra wire has tape around mid section -not quite sure why? Box is solid with a speck of darker tone on dial illustration's mid-section, which does not detract from overall excellent condition. $69.00
